CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER | FOUNDER
Maria, an award-winning Director, Screenwriter, Producer, and Actress, is the resilient Founder of Zatori Films, an independent film production company in Chicago.
Hailing from the Philippines, her journey as an immigrant overcoming abuse, criticism, and racial hate has shaped her into a courageous and determined woman. Her impactful work has garnered recognition in various film festivals, while her commitment to community service led her to found the No Small Potatoes Foundation, advocating mental health awareness for underserved communities.
Maria's versatility extends to her roles as a former President of the Chicago Eagles Wings Lions Club and a notable speaker at the 2019 Period Day Rally. She received recognition for exemplary community service from the Asian-American Coalition of Chicago.
Continuously donning multiple hats in the industry, she remains dedicated to honing her craft, fueled by her belief that success is earned, not given.
